Project details

What we need
  • 6-8 coaching sessions with a staff member
  • Actionable steps and advice to address an ongoing managerial issue
  • Assessment of the effectiveness of the Organization's leadership team
Additional details

Expertise in organizational diversity and inclusion strategies.

What we have in place
  • I already have a strategic framework for our organization's diversity and inclusion plan. I also have historical information on how we approached the work in previous years.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,198 , allowing us to serve more cancer patients and family members.

I'd like to get consultation and coaching on how to influence and lead dialogue with colleagues within my department to develop a shared diversity & inclusion plan that drives towards measurable results. Within our organization, each respective department is tasked with developing their specific tactics and metrics that tie back to the larger organizational diversity and inclusion plan. What are effective ways to facilitate discussion and engagement within my team department so that there is shared ownership and accountability for this work among my peers.

Our mission

The American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
