What We'd Like To Talk About

I'd like strategic advice on how to restructure our existing matrix management system, in which each staff member reports to both an office manager and unit manager.

  • Estimated Time: 1 hour
  • "Phone Calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone Call and a Project here.

Our Mission

Connecticut Legal Services is a nonprofit law office dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people by providing access to justice.

What We Do

The most vulnerable members of our communities can't afford the legal help they need in life-changing situations. CLS responds with free legal assistance and advocacy to help vulnerable people meet their basic needs and escape poverty. Across the state of Connecticut, we represent low-income people in more than 5,000 cases every year. We win restraining orders for domestic violence victims; protect the elderly from unfair evictions; and obtain educational services for disabled children. We believe that Connecticut can be the first state with universal access to justice - a place where every person is treated fairly and has equal opportunities to thrive.
