What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
What we have in place
  • We currently have a dedicated Program Coordinator, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have job descriptions, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to add these funds to our "Purchase a new Vehicle" campaign. We have a small car that is aging & we plan to replace it with a larger vehicle.

We are a very small non profit with 3 part time paid staff. We do not have an employee handbook. We allow paid sick time, vacation time and personnel time "within reason". No one has abused this system, but it is important to our organization that employees have a clear and concise policy as to what is expected of them. We need to know the legal obligations (specific to Connecticut), should someone require lengthy sick time. Having this in place will bring Wheels more in tune with what the "professional" world requires.
