Project details

What we need
  • A thorough review of existing training materials to ensure they are effective, engaging, and consistent with the Organization's training goals
  • Edits with respect to tone, length, and method of delivery
  • A document outlining revisions and suggestions for improvement
Additional details

--We are currently redoing the materials for 10 workshops that are taught to job seekers with disabilities
*We are looking for someone who can format the packets and supplemental powerpoints*
*Ensure that the formatting in all the packets is consistent, modern, and easy to follow
*Proofread and offer suggestions for edits
*Create simple, 5-6 slide PowerPoints for each chapter/topic of the class, which includes links that instructor will go through and has videos embedded for instructor to show

Note: we estimate this project to take 20+ hours.

What we have in place
  • We have finalized content for 3 of the classes so far.
They are in a Google Drive.
We are working on one class per week and will continue to upload as they are ready.
We have a basic template and color scheme, and have added pictures and videos to each document.(they just need to be formatted to look nicer!)
We also have all the notes, timelines, and deliverables for this project already documented in order to streamline the process as much as possible.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to provide modern, engaging, and easy to follow workshop materials to job seekers with disabilities so that they may gain and retain the knowledge they need to compete in the workforce.

We teach a series of ten disability and job search related workshops to our clients each month with an attendance of 3-5 people per class. Our current materials were written in 2007 so we desperately need to rewrite and modernize the content! We are working on rewriting one workshop per week with the intent that we will have all of the workshops done by October 1st. We are in need of someone to format the packets so that each is consistent modern and easy to read. We also need short PowerPoints for each so we can show videos.
