What we need
- A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
- Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
Additional details
Need someone with experience configuring NPSP. Our primary goals in order of priority: -Streamlining donor and donation information e g hosting an online donation form sending automated receipts -Processing acknowledgment letters e g having templates -Managing supporter/constituent data (information about supporters who are not donors) e g a web sign up page -Managing the e-blast process e g integrating Mailchimp -Managing events (primarily our annual gala) e g event pages tracking attendees tracking in kind donations -Be able to do Donor research prospecting and cultivation e g integrating with Foundation Center data - media outreach eg tracking media
What we have in place
- We currently have Saleforce set up with the NPSP, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have great Development, Communications, and IT staff ready to help out, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to Use those precious funds for direct services to our clients.
The Bronx Defenders provides innovative, holistic, and client-centered services to low-income
people of the Bronx, which include criminal defense, family defense, immigration representation,
civil legal services, social work support and advocacy. Our staff of over 300 represents nearly
32,000 individuals each year and reaches many more through outreach programs and
community legal education. If we do a better job of tracking and managing our donors, prospects, supporters and other constituents, we will be able to improve and expand services for our clients.
