Anxiety In Teens is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization seeking parents with strong writing skills and lived experience with caring for a child/teen with a mental health disorder(s) to help expand perspectives on our popular blog!
We are seeking:
--Lived experience with a child/teen with a mental health disorder
--Compassionate outlook; energized about helping other parents and youth with mental health issue
--Strong writing and editing capabilities
--Comfortable with virtual volunteering and email communication
Anxiety In Teens' Mission: helping youth with mental health issues & their families get information, inspiration and community through online presence and offline events featuring education, refuge and connection. Our vision: Comfort and certainty at every young adults' fingertips.
Anxiety In Teens has developed a virtual learning through service program for young adults struggling with mental illness across the country, allowing them become peer specialists and share their life experiences with one another through the nonprofit's popular online blog, AnxietyInTeens.org.
Christi was a delight to meet with; she was so knowledgeable in all areas that we needed and brought a ton of energy to our non-profit! So glad we could connect and look forward to working with her more.
It was so inspiring talking to Solome! She cares deeply about her organization and is working hard to reach more people. We had a great conversation brainstorming communication ideas, and I'm looking forward to working with her going forward.
