How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to Take three classrooms on field trips to the river!

In the coming year, Coastal Watershed Council seeks to expand our programs and to do so, we need increased funding. Our mission

The mission of the Coastal Watershed Council is to protect and preserve coastal watersheds through community stewardship, education and monitoring.

What we do

The San Lorenzo River runs right through downtown Santa Cruz, but the community isn't really drawn to this river. CWC is improving water quality and habitat and hosting family and youth-friendly events to improve public safety and environmental conditions, transforming this park into a cultural and natural asset that Santa Cruz is drawn to and proud of.

Testimonials

Emily is incredible! She designs really clean, easy to read documents that contain a ton of information. That's a really hard tightrope to walk, but Emily's graphic design experience makes the experience easy working with her as your designer. We can't thank Emily enough for helping to create the Coastal Watershed Council's first ever case statement and we'll owe many fundraising successes to Emily in the year ahead!

Print Materials Design Project

This was my first Catchafire project, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Working with Laurie was awesome. Not only did Laurie and her team give constructive and straightforward feedback throughout the project, they were also positive and open to exploring new and different design concepts. I'm so thankful for Coastal Watershed Council for trusting me with such an impactful project—and can't wait to watch them grow and fundraise in the months to come!
