What we have in place
  • We currently have existing collateral, new site wireframes & a functional app, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an amazing group of people working at and for PGK ready to respond and provide feedback, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to focus on outreach in the communities we serve, putting the materials you create into the hands of youth and those who work with them!

Project Giving Kids is planning to launch a brand new version of our website in May 2018. The new site is being created, in part, to better align with our first generation mobile app, YouthGive, created in 2017 but not yet promoted. We are in need of adjusting all our marketing collateral to be reflective of new content, demographic focus, functionality and overall design considerations. Effectively marketing our new look and feel is essential, and we need help to make that happen!

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides the Professional with a budget for print materials, finalized copy, high-resolution logo and any visual branding guidelines to be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager also provides images for desired deliverables (if applicable), examples of existing marketing materials and links to online presence (website and social media)
  • Volunteer Manager shares brand messaging guidelines (if applicable)

Milestone 1: Preliminary Concepts
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss how print materials will be utilized, target audience, and style preferences
  • Professional develops preliminary sketches, and garners feedback from Volunteer Manager

  • Professional drafts print materials, and incorporates any feedback into final product

Our mission

Project Giving Kids is a 501 (c)(3) public charity that uses technology to Connect Kids to Causes. The goal: to cultivate empathy in young children by connecting them to age-appropriate service opportunities at a critical time in their development and to strengthen the overall capacity of the nonprofit sector by uniting existing nonprofits with new volunteers and donors. Project Giving Kids (PGK) does this through an easy-to-navigate online platform designed for kids. Ultimately, PGK aims to become the go-to resource for kids (and those who love kids) looking to give back. By taking the time to partner with quality nonprofits providing fun opportunities to make a difference, Project Giving Kids take the guesswork out of the equation and provides great ideas that allow kids to begin the giving journey, anytime and anywhere.
