What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
What we have in place
- We currently have letters to supporters and literature "Greenwoods Today", which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a range of new services and new initiatives, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to subsidize mental health treatment. $600 will allow us to pay for 15 counseling sessions.
While the service we provide is a relatively simple concept, individuals that are not familiar with mental health and treatment often struggle to understand what we do. Many of the individuals that support us financially are not mental health professionals and many have never personally benefited from the service. We need to be able to clearly and quickly explain to potential supporters why our mission is so important, that it affects people directly, and that our financial needs are real and urgent.

What we do
Greenwoods is a nonprofit organization that helps people find quality mental health care. We are here to help you when you are faced with a mental health or related problem and don't know where to turn.
Greenwoods is the only mental health referral service in Connecticut that provides personalized referrals by matching each person who comes to us with counselors, therapists or other professionals with the expertise to help. We also provide financial help to those who are eligible.
