What we have in place
  • We currently have new brochures with a new tag line., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have press contacts and a business support group, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,198 , allowing us to help pay for 125 counseling sessions for clients that are in financial need and can't afford their treatment.

Although Greenwoods has existed for 25 years, I feel that we are the best kept secret in Litchfield County! Our model of providing no cost mental health assessments and then connecting people to the services they need is simple, but extraordinarily unique. Accessing mental health treatment can be a daunting task, especially in a rural area. We do the work for the client so that all he/she has to do is make the call. I want everyone in our community to know about the valuable service we provide.

The mission of Greenwoods Counseling Referrals, Inc. is to provide access to high-quality and affordable mental healthcare and related social services for individuals and families living or working in Litchfield County

What we do

Greenwoods is a nonprofit organization that helps people find quality mental health care. We are here to help you when you are faced with a mental health or related problem and don't know where to turn.

Greenwoods is the only mental health referral service in Connecticut that provides personalized referrals by matching each person who comes to us with counselors, therapists or other professionals with the expertise to help. We also provide financial help to those who are eligible.
