Project details

What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

**** This is a different project that our other recent infographic project (which ended up more social media graphics focused). This project is tailored to the creation of infographics specifically on affordable housing funding and the budget. If you applied to the other, we encourage you to apply again, we did not realize you could not divide up one project amongst different volunteers and once we accepted one volunteer it cancelled others. ****

What we have in place
  • We currently have all the data and an example for you to work off of, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have examples of other infographics we have done and examples from other organizations, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to dedicate our time, energy and resources to fighting to protect and expand federal housing program funding, on which so many New Yorkers depend.

If the Trump Fiscal Year 2019 budget is accepted by Congress, NY alone would lose $1 billion a year in critical housing funds. We need your help to revamp our Congressional District & State Budget Impact One-pagers to fight against these cuts & show how important these programs are to vulnerable families and communities.

We have created text data heavy versions that we hope you can make more visually impactful. We are going to use these materials in our meetings with Congressional Representatives & will disseminate it to our mailing list & our local and national affordable housing/community development.
