What we have in place
- We have a current system in place, so we are clear on its limitations. We have tried out two different timetracking software products: TimeCamp and Harvest, and have become aware of their limitations and clearer about what we would ideally get from a timetracking solution.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,926 , allowing us to provide cooperative ownership of affordable housing for low income residents in the Northeastern US or assist a business to convert to worker ownership.
We are struggling with identifying time tracking software that meets the needs of general users and also exports information that is useful for admin/bookkeeper. We are currently using Google spreadsheet with multiple tabs for different users as timesheet. However the level of detail needed for some users is surpassing the capability of a spreadsheet. Besides what features a user desires in time tracking including ideally synch/integration with collaborative work platform Podio; admin/bookeeper needs export of timesheet which tracks hours on at least 3 levels. Seems like a basic function to have timesheet export with specific associated data in separate columns/fields.
