Communication Materials Audit

Project details

What we need
  • Thorough review of the existing communication and marketing materials to ensure writing is understandable, engaging and consistent
  • Edits conducted with respect to writing style, voice, length, and proper spelling and grammar
  • Revised materials should adhere to branding, communications and marketing goals
Additional details

We would like to improve our informational brochure about Grace Lake.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a brochure, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Facebook page with almost 1,000 likes, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to provide therapeutic riding to 3 riders for a year!

This project will help us get the word out to our surrounding communities about who we are and what we do. The goal is to inform potential riders, volunteers, and donors about the opportunity.

Our mission

Grace Lake's mission is to provide therapeutic horsemanship to people with disabilities and others in need of hope and healing in a Christian environment.

What we do

Grace Lake provides therapeutic horsemanship to children 3 years old through adults with various disabilities (autism, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, downs syndrome, etc.), as well as youth with obvious social problems and youth without obvious social problems. We also serve their family members who get much therapeutic value from horsemanship.

Our classes include a Certified PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Instructor and sometimes volunteers working with a rider or a group of up to 4 riders in an enclosed arena, open field or barn area for the purpose of
improving their daily life functioning. The rider may learn specific riding skills, care of the horse, or how to saddle a horse. The rider may play games on horseback, maneuver through an obstacle course, or challenge their skills with a trail ride. Each rider or family will have specific goals to work toward. Classes begin with prayer. Classes are 45 minutes one time per week and are grouped together in Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions.
