Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
What we have in place
- We have a detailed outline of website menu items and have done extensive research for pinpointing features on similar sites that would be adaptable to our needs. Right now our website only functions to promote our November itinerary of events. We want the website to have usability throughout the year. We want our refreshed website to be stylish, contemporary, and to engage visitors with the love of craft and making.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to utilize resources for positively impacting Philadelphians of all ages while promoting the existing programs offered through our nonprofit partners and creating opportunities for working artists.
The goal for our redesigned website is to market our signature CraftMONTH programming while featuring other data sources that are relevant year round. CraftNOW wishes to explore features that will allow the website to generate revenue through listings and promotional opportunities for attracting potential funders. We want CraftNOWPhila.org to be the go-to resource for collectors, tourists, artists and makers highlighting Philadelphia as a premier urban craft center and the craft capital of the world.
Project plan
Our mission
We want everyone to experience what makes Philadelphia the recognized leader in the field of craft. CraftNOW provides the resources to leverage interest in craft beyond the prestigious Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show in November by organizing events for the youngest creative - as well as the world's most renowned scholars. We bring together local institutions and innovative artists to create year-round awareness of our city's rich legacy of craft.
Our goal is to make Philadelphia the premier destination for craft in the world.
Testimonials
Yang took the time to learn about our organization, provide a clean design proof for feedback, and worked with me during the entire launch of the website.
