Earned Income Plan
Project details
What we need
- Assessment and recommendations for income-generating activities that will complement the Organization's current mission and existing programs
- Actionable steps necessary to implement recommendations, alongside estimates of upfront time and monetary investment required
- Challenges and potential risks identified in pursuing the plan
What we have in place
- We currently have organization history, branding, partnerships, etc, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ideas of revenue streams, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,794 , allowing us to host activities such as Adaptive Yoga Workshops and Networking Nights in different cities.
It is important for BACKBONES to have an Earned Income Plan so that we can have a secure income to execute our programs and fulfill our mission of connecting people with spinal cord injury/disease to their community. The skills and fresh ideas of someone outside of the organization will be very beneficial and help us identify areas we may have overlooked.

Our mission
BACKBONES exists to help people with spinal cord injury or disease (SCI/D) and their families connect with their communities. We do that by creating events and experiences that promote awareness and engage people of all abilities.es.
What we do
Whether someone has just been injured or it’s been years, it feels great to connect with someone who’s been there. Share ideas on trying a new sport, employment, tips on parenting, college experiences, or accessible travel destinations…
BACKBONES helps bridge that connection by finding and pairing people with similar spinal cord injuries (SCI), backgrounds, experiences, and hobbies.
Through BACKBONES’ Connections even if you are the only person in your town or city with a SCI, you’re part of something bigger… an entire group of people connected by common experiences!
