What we'd like to talk about
Website re-do/ face-lift. Our current website is www.bodiehills.org It is 5-7 years old. The format &
functioning is outdated. We need a simple, modernized website & platform. pros/cons of platform
Additional context
We would also like to discuss the advantage of Square space vs Word Press for modernizing and updating our site. In the next version we would like to have a more visually appealing site that is more user-friendly, engaging, and mobile compatible.
We need to update some text and add more photos, but mostly re-launch the site in the most appropriate platform. It is a pretty basic, simple site and we have little new content regularly since the campaign is on a very slow track in the current federal administration. However, we still want to maximize and increase our SEO as much as feasibly possible. We are an organization of only 1 staff and occasional volunteers or temp support staff.

(Note:Our 1 staffer is not very familiar with website design in general but has talked to a couple of designers briefly. That staffer will have to add basic content updates in the future.)

Our mission
The vision of the Partnership is to “Create a healthy, sustainable future for the Bodie Hills that combines conservation and access, honors tradition and promotes the region’s scenic beauty, while protecting this special place from industrial-scale mining and development ."
The partnership is a coalition of groups trying to accomplish the above by creating a vision and then new designation on federal lands in the Bodie Hills to accomplish the above.
