What we need
- Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
- The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
What we have in place
- Our website is hosted by Flipcause on a Weebly platform. Our domain is through godaddy.com. The site had fundraising, volunteer, and registration capabilities. There is also a partnership with merchant partners where people can shop through the website and a percentage will be donated to our work.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,793 , allowing us to redirect those funds towards the community activities in which we are engaged.
We are in need of an engaging web presence that encourages visitors to act. We want our mission to be fully expressed on each page of the site. There are many ways to be active with Afrikan Unity Initiative and we want our members and community to easily access ot all.

Our mission
To foster a sense of togetherness across the Afrikan Diaspora through cultural, educational, and economic collaboration.
What we do
Afrikan Unity Initiative, Inc. is an organization catered toward creating a better world for Afrikans and all people through interactive service and education. We are called an initiative because the word exemplifies proactiveness, which is a necessity when fighting injustice. Our model of empowering people to be the leaders they seek is attributed to the Great Fundi Ella Baker and her participatory democracy methodology. All of our initiatives are designed to work in any place around the globe in order for the organization to help people of Afrikan descent wherever they may be in the Diaspora.
