Mobile-Friendly Website Audit

Project details

What we need
  • An assessment of how well the Organization's website works on mobile devices (phones and tablets)
  • Specific recommendations on how to update the website to work with mobile devices, including the highest priority enhancements needed to meet the Organization’s goals
  • Guidance on next steps, or resources for starting a mobile responsive website redesign project
  • Note: This project does not include new website development, or a complete responsive redesign of a current website.
Additional details

We need a search form for the Resource Directory. We currently have searchable pdfs from the print version of the Directory. It would be nice to have a way to search the database (not yet online) of the directory to help online searchers find answers to their needs.

What we have in place
  • Our Webmaster works on monthly updates and new ideas/projects and making connections to articles 1 day each week (Thursday), plus other work from home.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,802 , allowing us to continue to run this organization, this is more than I make in a year as the webmaster. $9000 is one third of the budget for the whole organization.

This site has an online version of the Resource Directory: guide to congregations and community resources, covering the Inland Northwest. It gets about 25,000 visitors a month and needs to be more mobile friendly.
