This project will save us $4,000, allowing us to install more computers at schools.

What We Need

  • A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
  • Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
  • Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
  • “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code

Nice To Have

We are currently using Salesforce to track our donor leads and could use training on that module as well as report customization.

How This Will Help

The success of our organization depends on multiple people accessing our donor database. Without your help, we cannot distribute thank you letters quickly and efficiently. Your skills will empower us to operate more efficiently and improve donor relations.

What We Have In Place

We currently have an offline Filemaker Pro relational database with record IDs which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have reports defined and the ability to provide any other information you need.

Fun Fact

Powering Potential designs, implements and maintains solar-powered computer labs at rural schools in developing countries. We install an offline digital library with Khan Academy videos, Wikipedia articles and so much more so students have a world of knowledge at their fingertips even though they do not have Internet connectivity.
