What we need
  • A functioning accounting or bookkeeping system that meets the needs of the organization on an ongoing basis.
  • One or two special reports that the Accounting Manager / Bookkeeper can run on a regular basis for reporting to the Executive Director or to the Board.
  • A document including suggestions to reorganize the general ledger structure (or chart of accounts), including a clear map that traces the existing account structure to the proposed new one.

    Our mission

    Yansa partners with communities that want to make use of their renewable energy resources as a means to building sustainable and participatory local economies.

    What we do

    Yansa is innovating a new model for empowering rural and indigenous communities to make use of their renewable energy sources as a means to building sustainable and participatory local economies. Our initial project is in Oaxaca, Mexico where we are working with a Zapotec community to create the first large-scale community-owned wind farm in the region.
