Project details

What we need
  • Creation of an E-Newsletter from scratch, or an overhaul of an existing one
  • Training on how to input content into a template
Additional details

We would like to work with someone who has experience doing e-newsletters or email marketing already - and has worked with Aweber or another similar product. We would like to have a few different professional looking templates that we can mix and match, vs. just creating one e-newsletter template. I'm hoping this is possible to do but if not I can also prioritize just one for now. Thanks in advance!

What we have in place
  • We have gorgeous photography that our founder has taken on all her trips that can be used. We also have an awesome logo done professionally in a variety of specifications. The idea would be for the email communications to have the same look and feel as the website, which we recently redid. We can also send you previous e-communications and let you know what we like/don't like about those. We are also very open to suggestions!
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to put that money toward scholarships for our participants who've been impacted by cancer.

We currently have a small but mighty email list but only communicate by sending out copies of our blog posts. Everyone gets the same communications and it isn't tailored and our templates are cobbled together because we aren't sure how to make them look better (we use Aweber). We'd like to create a few different solid looking email templates (for blog emails, email marketing emails, e-newsletter, etc.) so that we don't have to create them from scratch each time and can spend more time on the quality of the content.

Our mission

Our mission is to help people make sense of the complex emotions of cancer and give them the tools, support, and community to thrive -- even in the midst of challenging circumstances.

What we do

A Fresh Chapter (AFC) is a survivor-led organization that is changing the landscape of cancer support around the globe. We bridge the gap in cancer by care by focusing on the whole person -- not just their disease. Through our peer-facilitated virtual and in-person programs, we use a skills-based approach to address the emotional aftermath of cancer while empowering patients, survivors, and caregivers to move forward with resilience and purpose. Our programs cover a range of themes including navigating uncertainty, living in contradiction, and finding perspective, and are available free of charge to individuals impacted by all types and stages of cancer around the world.

Testimonials

Christine went above and beyond on our newsletter project. She came up with multiple great concepts, worked with us to refine them, and "tinkered" with the final versions until they were perfect. She's the kind of person who is willing to dive into a project like an internal member of the team. Working with Christine was an absolute pleasure and I would do it again.
