What we need
- Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
- Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives

Hi, our plan is to quickly turn-around our copy into a leaflet / brochure. If it is possible to include ideas for a simple brochure / leaflet lay-out that would be great!
What we have in place
- The SSN has been established for 5 years - we have a one-sheet already created with a nice overview and a list of past workshops, we have testimonials from attendees as well as the results of a (very positive!) survey from attendees. We have staff who have been involved since the inception of the SSN who are available for in-put. We have the content just need to pull it together in a compelling easily digestible well-designed manner.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to Expand the already very successful SSN to help engage and support more educators throughout the state of NJ. We can help more kids thrive in school, college, work and life!
Over the last 5 years we have developed a very successful, well-regarded and valued resource for schools -the School Support Network (SSN). Over the last 5 years we have expanded to 3 counties and have engaged thousands of educators. The growth has happened in a grass roots fashion primarily via word of mouth. We are now interested in expanding state-wide and need a document that captures and communicates the success and benefits of the SSN. We will use the document to engage funders as well as large state entities who have all expressed interest in further collaboration

Our mission
United Way of Northern New Jersey is a thriving regional entity serving the communities of its founding members. With a renewed purpose, all of our work to build stronger northern New Jersey communities is focused on improving life for ALICE - our neighbors who are Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. These nearly 890,000 New Jersey households - and a quarter of households in our region - are working, but are still unable to afford the basic necessities of housing, food, child care, health care, and transportation.
When ALICE suffers and is forced to make difficult choices, we all face serious consequences. United Way is working to shine a light on this population that is so critical to the stability of our communities. We are looking beyond temporary fixes to find solutions that result in long-term, sustainable change for all individuals and families. Our focus on three areas - Education, Income, and Health - helps ALICE at three key points - now, in the near term, and with an eye to a better and more stable future.
