What we'd like to talk about
We are interested in exploring a possible funding model of selling crafts that benefits the NGOs we support in Uganda and ACS in the US
Additional context
ACS is working with Uganda patient hostels to build their capacity. One of the ways they raise $ is to sell crafts their patients make. How can we help them sell their crafts here in the US where they benefit and ACS raises some money too? Thank you!
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
Our mission
The work of the Cancer Control department focuses on applying known interventions such as reducing tobacco use and increasing screening rates to save lives, as well as improving the quality of life for cancer patients and their families. The organizing principle of the Cancer Control program is directed at achieving health equity by creating healthier communities, helping to shape a more effective health care delivery system, and empowering people to live a cancer-free life, or their best life with cancer.
