What we have in place
- We have a mission and vision that is tailored to our current programs, and substantial information on our projects and their accomplishments. We have a great corps of volunteers who do the important work in our programs. We also are developing a vigorous web and social media program that needs more focus to better communicate our values and vision. I am committing my time to this project so we can adapt better to a changing world.
How this will help
This project will save us $13,348 , allowing us to send 2 volunteer trainers to a program site.
Global Healing works in developing countries to improve access to high quality pediatric care in a sustainable manner. After 20 years of existence, our organization is going through changes on many levels, including turnover of projects, staff, and board members. We need a refresh beginning from first principles to develop our board members and set the stage for future strategic planning and board reorganization. This project will make it possible for us to start our strategic refresh.

Our mission
Good healthcare is essential to every aspect of daily life. Without it, we cannot be productive workers, contented citizens, or supportive parents. And yet, billions wake up every morning without access to a medical system capable of healing and curing them simply because of where they live. Global Healing exists because no one should suffer when sustainable medical solutions exist.
What we do
We strengthen health care systems in low and middle income countries to enable transformative change in the quality of and access to health care. We do this by working with local governments, private businesses, individual volunteers and many other stakeholders to produce a program that is sustainable financially and operationally in the long-term.
Global Healing is a leading international nonprofit in the fields of blood safety, maternal and child health, and ancillary services.
