What we'd like to talk about
We would like to talk about refining/designing a pre quiz we are giving at speaking events. The audiences may vary, but typically have little to no experience with impact investing.
Additional context
These concepts are mentioned in the mainstream press, the quizz results are a first effort toward data collection for outputs and to inform strategy to actualize our Slow Money mission.
A draft quiz of ~11 questions is available
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
Our mission
Slow Money SoCal is a non-profit network that connects farmers, entrepreneurs, investors, thought-leaders and everyday folks interested in developing alternatives that help strengthen and diversify our local food system.
What we do
Our work is dedicated to moving money into our local economy. We focus on small food enterprises and local food systems while connecting investors to the places where they live. We are building local networks while developing new financial products and services. Based on the book by Woody Tasch, INQUIRIES INTO THE NATURE OF SLOW MONEY, Slow Money is a new way to invest, and it is a movement. Slow money local networks and investment clubs are forming in scores of communities across the U.S., Canada and France. Slow Money SoCal is the regional network in Southern California.
Testimonials
Another wonderful Catchafire experience. Stephanie was patient with the information gathering. She was also very kind choosing to give me a second 30 minute interview time as we reviewed the hard copy version through email. Her insights were invaluable and will help us get the critical feedback we need from our constituents.
Great 1 hour conversation with Michelle at Slow Money SoCal. Really enjoy this 1 hour consultation forum to help organizations think through ideas and approaches.
