Project details
What we need
- An effective and concise document that covers the following: Mission and Vision Statement, Executive Summary, Products, Programs, and Services, Target Market, Marketing Plan, Industry and Competitive Analysis, Financials, Organizational Structure, Management Team/Role of Board, Your Offering, Appendix, etc.
- An internal guide to align day-to-day operations and goals
- A fresh perspective on an Organization’s goals and strategies
What we have in place
- We currently have most of the brand elements and the name for this enterprise. We also have customers waiting to buy our products. We've got the kitchen and people willing to help realize this business. We just need you and your skills to help ensure we're in this for the long haul, building a brand and business that will be successful here, nationally, even internationally.
How this will help
This project will save us $15,028 , allowing us to provide 12-weeks of lifeskills and vocational training in food services for nearly 2 sheltered women with children.
At its essence, we are about job creation, on-the-job training and workforce development to the marginalized in Hawaii - the sheltered homeless, disadvantaged & those with barriers to employment. Specifically, we partner with organizations with underutilized commercial kitchens to turn them into profit-making centers with a purpose. By 'purpose', we mean, 1) use the kitchen for our vocational training program and 2) use the kitchen as a worksite to serve the community. This BP for the profit-making arm will enable us to serve more people and provide them with jobs.

What we do
At its essence, we are about job creation and workforce development to the marginalized in Hawaii - the homeless, disadvantaged and those with barriers to employment.
Specifically, we partner with organizations that have underutilized commercial kitchens to turn them into profit centers 'with a purpose'. By 'purpose', we mean: 1) using the kitchen for its vocational training program in food services as well as, 2) utilizing the kitchen as a worksite to serve the community through a food services social enterprise - a business, whether a cafe, bakery, catering service, meal delivery service or a food production site for branded products.
