What we need
- 6-8 coaching sessions with a staff member
- Actionable steps and advice to address an ongoing managerial issue
- Assessment of the effectiveness of the Organization's leadership team
As the co-founders and co-directors of HEAL, we are looking for coaching to guide us as leaders (both individually and as a team) through this next phase in our growth. HEAL has a complex inter-institutional organizational structure with significant reliance on volunteers and trainees to meet its commitments to the population we serve, all of which presents unique adaptive leadership challenges.
What we have in place
- We currently have draft strategic goals/objectives and an organogram, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have informational presentations and grant interim reports, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,198 , allowing us to serve additional immigrant survivors of torture and trauma seeking refuge in the U.S.
Our ability to lead effectively both individually and as a team will be instrumental to our success in guiding HEAL through this next phase in our growth and shepherd it through a new funding cycle and strategic plan.

We work to provide and expand access to trauma-informed, affirming care and supportive services to immigrant survivors of torture and trauma. Through our commitment to integrating direct service, community partnership, advocacy, and research, we provide interdisciplinary education to trainees and professionals dedicated to advancing health equity, justice, and human rights.
