- New or revised policies that clearly define the role of the board and its relationship to the Organization
What we have in place
- We currently have sample by-laws for a similar nonprofit, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the assistance of Board members of our sponsoring nonprofit, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,610 , allowing us to assist 100000 patients and their families.
The success of our organization depends on establishing clear by-laws. Without your help, we cannot incorporate at the state level. Your skills will empower us to establish ourselves as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Our mission
Our mission is to provide reliable information to patients, caregivers, and professionals. We seek to represent the patient voice, to channel patient perspectives to government agencies, committees and initiatives, and through regional and local groups, provide a platform where they can exchange information and viewpoints. We support advocacy efforts to increase funding for research to identify a biomarker and find a cure for this devastating disease.
