Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
What we have in place
- We currently have an operational website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a recent site audit available,, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to provide 10 children summer progamming scholarships otherwise.
Caring People Alliance’s website is an integral part of our outreach and branding efforts. Unfortunately, the nuts and bolts of our current platform are showing signs of age; as is, the site doesn’t reflect the dynamic nature of our mission and programs otherwise. We need a reconstructed site that is technologically current, easily managed, and provides for visually appealing content. This project will help strengthen our online presence, and better reach community members, potential donors and program partners.

Our mission
We empower children and youth in the Philadelphia area to become positive citizens, leaders and decision makers by providing them, their families, and their elders with high quality, community based programs and services that promote character building, educational achievement, healthy lifestyles and teamwork.
What we do
Caring People Alliance is an anchor in the community. We serve thousands of people each year. Child Care Information Services assists around 23,000 members of the South and West Philadelphia communities to find and afford high quality child care. Our three inner city community centers provide high quality child care, Boys & Girls Clubs for after school and summer activities for school age youth, a treatment foster care program specializing in troubled older youth, older adult programming and a "Caring Paws" program the provides animal assisted therapy to older adults, humane education for school age youth, and a new reading to the animals program for younger elementary school children who are having trouble with reading.
