Project details

What we need
  • Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
  • The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
What we have in place
  • We currently have a well-established Wordpress website and communication plan, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have organizational copy and branding materials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to expand to a new school and provide a civic engagement class for 25 high school students.

Recently we have launched a new initiative and set of youth programs. We are trying to communicate that on our website effectively to reach our new audience - college students who would volunteer for this new program. This copywriting project will help us ensure that we are directing our audience to the right website pages and using concise language to explain our program and volunteer requirements. Additionally, our existing program information could use a linguistic overall to reduce the amount of words per page while still getting the necessary information to our users.

Our mission

Develop the rising generations of philanthropic leaders who cultivate global citizenship and empower others around the world to achieve their full potential.

What we do

Allowance for Good (AfG) develops the rising generations of philanthropic leaders who cultivate global citizenship and empower others around the world to achieve their full potential. We seek to educate and engage youth ages 13-18 in topics such as philanthropy, leadership development, and social entrepreneurship in order to create successful 21st century global citizens. We do this by enriching, empowering, and educating youth through three programs: our Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy educational series, our Global Philanthropy Summit day camp, and our Global Engagement Expeditions in experiential service learning. AfG also partners regularly with family foundations, corporations, and schools to deliver custom programming.
