Project details

What we need
  • A Public Relations (PR) strategy rooted in the Organization's public relations goals
  • Identification of the audiences Organization should be addressing and the media outlets they should target to reach stated audiences
  • A press list created based on Organization's target media outlets
  • Recommendations on the best tactics to build relationships with Organization's target media outlets
What we have in place
  • We currently have sell sheets, fact sheets, founder's story/bio, and photos--we can also create anything else that you might need. We've also identified a list of ideal trade and consumer news outlets as well as a list of social media influencers and bloggers that should make it easy for you to get started. We have social media presence on Facebook (~9,400), Instagram (1,600) and Twitter (3,100).
How this will help
This project will save us $6,343 , allowing us to participate in 3 additional trade shows to increase sales thereby increasing our donation to Vitamin Angels.

The success of our organization depends on
creating brand awareness and growing our distribution. With your help, we can
execute an effective PR campaign for both our existing products & new organic, gluten-free, vegan crackers (inspired by Goldfish but mustache-shaped) that will launch in July/August 2016. The increased exposure and awareness will hopefully drive sales and ultimately increase the amount of our donation to Vitamin Angels (our commitment to them is equal to 1% of sales).

Our mission

We're on a mission to nourish all generations, current and future. By creating delicious & nutritious, organic, Non-GMO products, we provide kids and adults the real nutrition they need to grow up good and healthy.
As a socially minded company, we donate 1% of all sales to Vitamin Angels, a non-profit organization that helps at-risk populations in need--specifically pregnant women, new mothers and children under five--gain access to lifesaving and life changing vitamins and minerals.

What we do

Green Mustache is a new line of locally-produced, USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified green juice smoothies. Each bottle contains TWO cups of kale and spinach, a serving of fruits, coconut water and chia. All our smoothies are gluten-free and vegan, without any added sugars or preservatives. We blend our drinks--rather than juicing--to retain the fiber and nutrients that juicing can leave behind, helping to stabilize the natural sugars of our organic fruit and veggies and to promote better digestion.

Our company's founder was inspired to create Green Mustache when she faced her own challenges feeding a toddler with picky eating habits and whose beige-colored diet, unfortunately, did not include any green vegetables. While Green Mustache was originally created for children, we have found that many older kids and adults have gravitated to the company's products as a better-for-you version of some of their previous beverage choices or simply because our drinks offer a tasty and convenient way to incorporate greens into their day.
