Earned Income Plan
Project details
What we need
- Assessment and recommendations for income-generating activities that will complement the Organization's current mission and existing programs
- Actionable steps necessary to implement recommendations, alongside estimates of upfront time and monetary investment required
- Challenges and potential risks identified in pursuing the plan
What we have in place
- We currently have brand messaging, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have website, strategic plan, 2016 budget, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,794 , allowing us to empower 15000 widows we currently serve.
Like every non-profit, accessing the forecast of income-generating activities is vital to stabilizing our programs and mission. This project will help increase donors and further our efforts to empower widows in every way.

for widows worldwide.
We're here to help you transform your grief after loss into a positive, purposeful future while embracing your own strength and courage. Join us to build new friendships and community as you walk this path with your wisters (widow + sisters).
As widows helping widows, we offer in-person and virtual support groups, clubs and activities, travel opportunities, educational courses, mentoring programs, conferences, videos, podcasts, opportunities for advocacy and philanthropy, and more.
We support widows of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, beliefs, faiths, partner statuses, and loss circumstances. You are not alone.
What we do
We are the experts advancing widow support, research, education and advocacy locally, nationally and globally.
Our extensive community programs are enhanced by our highly successful widow leadership development program. Our in person and virtual events, Healthy Widow Healthy Woman podcast, Worlds Best Widow blog and monthly educational webinars fulfill our intended mission to empower widows to thrive.
We are the largest research population at 40K widowed families strong in negotiations to create the first Centerhood for Widowhood Studies in the U.S.
Modern Widows Club and out tagline 'Empowering Widows To Thrive' are trademarked, as well as, Wister (Widow + Sister) - the name we call ourselves in the club.
