Project Details

What We Need
  • Setup of Google Analytics account and tracking codes for web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
  • Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
  • Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis
Additional Details

JerseySTEM is deploying a new website (WordPress) in conjunction with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp and a CRM ie Salesforce. Looking to use Google Analytics to help monitor impact.
Looking for subject matter expert to accelerate our deployment

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a functioning website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ongoing marketing campaigns, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to provide instruction to 60 additional students.

In order to reach the relevant stakeholders for our organization, we need to monitor the access to our resources and channel our efforts accordingly.

Prep: Information Sharing & Goal Setting
  • Volunteer Manager gives overview of any current use of online statistics and shares admin details for existing Google Analytics account (if it exists)
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session, to discuss goals, current web platforms, and existing data on statistics (if any)
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and timeline for the project

Milestone 1: Tracking Setup
  • Professional explains basics of getting started with Google Analytics and sets up tracking codes based on the Organization’s goals
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on setting up reports to collect desired data
  • Professional reviews implementation of tracking codes to ensure they are working and helps troubleshoot as needed

Milestone 2: Training
  • Professional creates guidelines for data interpretation and analysis, and shares any tips for continued used of Google Analytics
  • Professional reviews above guidelines and tips with Volunteer Manager
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to address questions as Volunteer Manager starts to regularly monitor analytics

JerseySTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math ("STEM") education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities

We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities.

Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online afterschool projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.

Reduce the gender gap in STEM participation;

Bridge the innovation gap in STEM education by introducing novel formats for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math;

Address the opportunity gap by expanding access to STEM programs in underserved communities.
