Project details

What we need
  • Document outlining feedback on pitch delivery with suggested next steps and/or resources
  • A script for a 1-minute verbal pitch that communicates your Organization's mission, work, and why people should care
Additional details

I launched the Shteibel (shtiebel.org.au) in January this year as a social enterprise designed to challenge the historical assumptions about what it means to be engaged with and involved in Jewish life but am struggling to have my message break through the traditional assumptions and historical expectations and am seeking help to craft a tighter more effective message that will help expand my reach and grow my donor base.

What we have in place
  • We currently have A website which tells "our story"... www.shtiebel.org.au, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have additional documents we used to raise initial seek funding., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to offer pastoral, educational and spiritual services to those that otherwise would not have access to it!

Our work is effective, impactful and meaningful! Currently, however, it is not sustainable as we need to grow. This messaging is therefore paramount to the Shtiebel future.

Our mission

The shtiebel, this home of meaningful, accessible, authentic Judaism in Melbourne, where we celebrate traditions - your way!

We are an inclusive, innovative and welcoming community committed to providing the experiences and opportunities needed to foster meaningful Jewish practices and building a positive Jewish identity in our rapidly changing world.

What we do

We help people "do Jewish" and "be Jewish" in their own way and in their own time.

While we place no boundaries or barriers on Jewish expression, living and ritual, we provide a supportive and encouraging community where people can explore their identities, beliefs and practices without judgement or coercion.

Put simply, we are investing in the Jewish future by helping people connect with Judaism in inclusive, innovative and engaging ways.
