What we need
  • A new pitch deck, or update of an existing pitch deck
  • Template for future pitch deck creation
  • Best practices and tactics for structuring an effective pitch
What we have in place
  • We already have a good basic pitch, lots of supporting material, experience pitching, and a base of prospects to whom we'd like to show a new pitch deck.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,842 , allowing us to produce 2 new major investigations of public significance.

Among our core funder group, there's real excitement for what we do. However, we have trouble conveying the importance and uniqueness of our approach to others. A good pitch deck should help us raise much more money, and grow.

  • Organizational background materials helpful in crafting the pitch, such as Mission and Vision, Annual Report, or other fundraising materials

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss the goals, intended audience, and desired length of the presentation

  • Professional outlines the new pitch to convey overall presentation arc, slides to be included, and important supporting elements
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 3: Final deliverable
  • Professional delivers a final draft of the pitch deck, along with notes to help guide aural presentation
