What we need
- An edited 1-3 minute audio file delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details
We would like an engaging highlight reel that captures the essence of our show. The podcast is about sewing, liberation, Black women's creativity, and the history and present actions of both. We would like audio to take clips from our show, arrange them with the intro and use some of the sound effects that we've recorded. Total project should be 5 minutes max.
What we have in place
- We have audio files for the specific episode we want. We also have a list of timestamps for sound bites. We have an intro, sewing sound effects that we'd like included. We also have licensed music and original music. These are all in a Google folder and easy to share access with you. We ask that you upload the final audio to that file.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to divert our limited resources elsewhere while deepening community connection to our work.
This type of short audio can help us share our show in small digestible ways. If we can communicate the value of our message, then we can build future sustainability for our organization.

Our mission
Black Women Stitch is the sewing group where Black lives matter. We center Black women, girls, and femmes in sewing. We practice the principles of Black liberation, radical self love, and social justice.
What we do
*Stitch Please podcast, a weekly audio show, is our major project. The podcast aims to support, celebrate, and inspire Black women sewists locally and around the world.
*Weekly chats on Instagram Live to answer questions and address issues/topics of interest, including material from the podcast, current sewing projects, and dismantling white supremacy.
