What we need
  • Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about the Organization’s identity, constituents, mission, and vision
  • Creation of taglines and talking points to help the Organization communicate clearly and concisely
  • Recommendations on tailoring messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)
What we have in place
  • We currently have a mission statement, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a proposal with specific goals, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,000 , allowing us to dedicate our resources to providing material support to 1000000 patients and their families.

One of our goals as a national health-related non-profit is to reach hospitals, medical and nursing schools, and public health departments with our message. These institutions will be referring patients to us, and will be coming to our website to gain more information about ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome). Federal and state agencies will also be looking to us to provide information about the ME/CFS community as well as patient representation in decisions affecting policy. This project will help establish us as an organization capable of representing the interests and promoting the welfare of patients and their families.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide reliable information to patients, caregivers, and professionals. We seek to represent the patient voice, to channel patient perspectives to government agencies, committees and initiatives, and through regional and local groups, provide a platform where they can exchange information and viewpoints. We support advocacy efforts to increase funding for research to identify a biomarker and find a cure for this devastating disease.
