What we need

Public Architecture is looking to grow our Studio which offers professional design, planning, and strategy services. We are looking to deepen our knowledge of our market, understand how we can differentiate ourselves more effectively, and target the most mission-aligned and profitable clients or partners. We need:

  • A document which outlines our current and future market potential
  • An appendix of all data gathered to perform analysis including sources
What we have in place
  • We currently have a preliminary market analysis and consultant report, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have extensive knowledge of the competitors and potential markets in public interest design, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,948 , allowing us to match 47 non-profits with social impact designers.

Our Studio/Design Services is a fundamental part of Public Architecture's financial stability and key to maintaining a competitive position in our field. As the fee-for-service, revenue generating arm of the organization its important for us to grow this department in order for Public Architecture to be sustainable. In addition, the clients that we choose to work with are extremely important; they are key to us being able to work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of the built environment and social impact. Our brand and reputation rely largely on having great clients.

Our mission

Public Architecture provides the network and knowledge necessary to use design as a tool for social gain.

What we do

1) Commit - Through The 1% program we challenge architecture and design firms to donate 1% of their time pro bono and we have an online platform to connect them to nonprofit projects to fulfill that pledge.

2) Act - We offer fee for service design work utilizing our staff and The 1% network for higher level strategic consulting and community outreach work.

3) Share - We create resources (case studies, handbooks, etc.) to share best practices and knowledge that we have gained through our over 10 years of experience.
