Press Kit
Press Kit
Project details
What we need
We currently do not have a cohesive press kit to send to the media, and potential donors. In order to promote who we are and what we do in order to reach our community, garner more media coverage and raise funds for our various projects that help veterans, we need:
- A print & electronic press kit for our organization, which generally includes the following: Mission & Vision, historical information about our organization, biographies of senior staff, fact sheet, logo design, supplementary multimedia such as a promotional video, and any major press releases
- Press release template
- Recommendations on how to build relationships with the media
What we have in place
- We have press articles and videos on the organization, bios of senior staff, information about our programs, a logo, business cards, and soon dog tags with our organization's information for promotional purposes.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to providing housing for 10 veterans.
Having a prepackaged promotional kit will assist us in garnering media and community attention. Knowing why the organization is important to the community can help attract potential donors in the community that will help us continue serving veterans in the best possible way.
Project plan
Our mission
Since 1993, our goal has been to provide safe housing, nutritious meals, and access to an full array of services to help primarily homeless Veterans, their families, and non-Veterans so they can begin their rehabilitation process.
What we do
Veterans come out of a world entirely different than that of civilians. They are given incredible training, abilities, and responsibilities without the university degree and certification which will allow them to translate and transition outside of that bubble. It is no wonder that they may come to a place of struggle once re-entered into our civilian world.
We are a full-fledged non-profit 501(c)(3) Veteran run, service-enriched provider serving the homeless Veterans and displaced populations of Alameda County. Our goal is to provide safe housing, nutritious meals, and access to a full array of services so those we support can begin their rehabilitation process.
Testimonials
Nikki Steingold was a fantastic asset in the process of creating out Press Release Kit. She was able to take my written thoughts and turn them into PR gold. She was great to work with and the project turned out AMAZING!!
What a pleasure working for Tanisha Everett and Operation Dignity! I was given very clear information about the project, and Tanisha provided great support whenever I needed answers. It was very fulfilling to be able to do something for veterans, a population that has done so much for us all. I encourage everyone to do what they can for this wonderful organization.
