Project details

What we need
  • An assessment of Organization's IT infrastructure including costs, speed, reliability and security
  • Advice on various IT services and the cost-benefit associated with each option
  • Potentially more efficient and secure services
  • Note: This does not include tech systems set up or implementation
What we have in place
  • Our organization has a beautiful website, constant contact database with over 3,000 subscribers, and Twitter with 2,800 followers. We need internal technology that streamlines our donor databases, mailing lists, and decades of server files. We recently downsized our office and cut unnecessary costs - IT being one of them. Our computers are slow, and we don't know why. We think one of them has a virus, but don't have anyone to call for a second opinion. These are the issues that stump us. I'm always trying to do internet searches for answers - we all know how that goes.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,001 , allowing us to host three events educating 400 Illinois voters.

The purpose of ICPR is to promote government transparency, accountability, and ethics. In order to accomplish this, we must have a smoothly run office where our files are easily accessible. Working with a small staff and only one full-time employee, we must be extremely efficient with our time and energy. Functioning technology is crucial for our small organization. We want to do the most we can with what little resources we have to work for Illinois voters. Your skills are ones that we sorely need. We have plenty of policy wonks but no tech geniuses. Please help!
