Salesforce Training
Project details
What we need
- A one-day intensive Salesforce training for up to five staff members
- A document summarizing topics covered during training
What we have in place
- We currently have many technological resources, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a team of interested and excited staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,888 , allowing us to assist 12 immigrant youth through their entire immigration case.
The success of our organization depends on being able to capture all of our data. Without your help, we cannot utilize technology to further our mission. Your skills will empower us to focus more time on our work with immigrant youth.
Project plan
Our mission
Safe Passage Project addresses the unmet legal needs of indigent immigrant youth living in New York by providing these indigent youth with basic advice and assistance. We work with volunteer attorneys to provide representation for unaccompanied minors in immigration court. Safe Passage provides training, resources, and mentoring to volunteer attorneys regarding Special Immigrant Juvenile (“SIJ”) status as well as other possible immigration alternatives for children.
What we do
We recruit, train, mentor, and support pro bono attorneys and students who volunteer to assist immigrant children. We have existed as a group since 2006, but we have grown immensely since June of 2014 when the surge of child migrants began crossing the borders. We believe that no child should face immigration court alone.
