Project details

What we need
  • Final designs for a predetermined type of promotional apparel (e.g., t-shirts, hats, shorts, other swag) or merchandise (mugs, pens, tote bags, etc.) provided in the high-resolution format of the Organization's choice
  • Note: Printing and vendor sourcing is not included
What we have in place
  • We currently have a website for information, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have twitter and facebook accounts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to raise 10000 for more well/garden projects in South Africa.

We need to update our store with new merchandise, something that tells our story but also attractive. We have many hits on store page but no purchases. Something needs to change. If we get people to purchase an item, they may also donate to our cause. We are a foundation bringing clean water to rural schools in South Africa. We also do gardening and sanitation projects.

Our mission

A Spring of Hope seeks to improve education in South Africa by investing in and consulting rural, underprivileged schools. We provide clean water sources for drinking, sanitation, and garden irrigation to improve health and combat poverty in each of our partner schools.

What we do

A Spring of Hope creates school partnerships. Our partnerships begin with identifying the goals of our partner school, using their own measures of success. Our investment in our carefully selected partner schools begins with providing a clean water source, most often a well, to improve sanitation, irrigation, and hygiene. We invest in the entrepreneurial energy of the school, helping with small revenue-generating projects to buttress the school's meager budgets. All of our partner schools share knowledge and insight with each other and generate healthy, mutually beneficial competition through sports, gardening, and academic success. A Spring of Hope has seen tremendous success at our schools, confirming our belief in the power of small community-based rural development.
