What we need
  • Analysis of the Organization’s current needs, long-term goals, programs, competitive standing and resources
  • Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to reach the desired objectives, including allocation of resources and how to measure success
  • Plan outlining the resources and steps required to reach short- and long-term goals
What we have in place
  • We currently have notes from visioning sessions and workgroup priorities, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have mapping of what and where partner services are, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to drive social change for 1500000 marginalized Brooklynites.

We already have a large body of active and interested organizations committed to working together towards positively impacting community health measures in Brooklyn. Our work has in the past been driven by funder goals. We want to map out a clear strategic vision on how to achieve impact in the borough, and be able to present our vision to meet more funding opportunities.

  • Professional explores possibilities for new efforts, identifies opportunities, determines where change is possible and adjusts plans

  • Professional refines the Organization’s mission, vision and values (if necessary)

Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the nation's first community development corporation, partners with residents and business to improve the quality of life of Central Brooklyn by fostering economic self sufficiency, enhancing family stability and growth, promoting the arts and culture and transforming the neighborhood into a safe, vibrant place to live, work and visit.

What we do

The Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corp. Health Initiative convenes a Brooklyn Borough-wide partnership of 100 + community based health and other organizations who aim to use collective capacity to influence access to improved community health outcomes for the residents and communities we serve.
