Mobile-Friendly Website Audit

Project details

What we need
  • An assessment of how well the Organization's website works on mobile devices (phones and tablets)
  • Specific recommendations on how to update the website to work with mobile devices, including the highest priority enhancements needed to meet the Organization’s goals
  • Guidance on next steps, or resources for starting a mobile responsive website redesign project
  • Note: This project does not include new website development, or a complete responsive redesign of a current website.
What we have in place
  • We already have a website built on the WordPress platform that is updated regularly; we have also prioritized making our website mobile-friendly and are committed to dedicating the time needed to do so.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,802 , allowing us to educate over 100 monthly on chordoma.

Because of the rarity of chordoma, educating patients on the disease and helping patients find experienced physicians is crucial to improving outcomes for newly diagnosed patients as well as those experiencing a recurrence. Our website is a wealth of information but is currently not mobile-friendly. This project will allow us to extend the reach of this valuable information to patients utilizing mobile devices in locations (such as hospitals) where computers are not typically used but easy access to this information could be life-changing.

Our mission

The Chordoma Foundation is an international nonprofit organization working to improve the lives of chordoma patients by accelerating the development of effective treatments.

What we do

Fund results-oriented research
We proactively fund research projects identified by our Scientific Advisory Board as strategic priorities for advancing the development of new treatments for chordoma.

Provide scientific resources
We create, collect, store, and distribute the information and biological materials that researchers need in order to study chordoma and develop new treatments.

Facilitate communication and collaboration
We connect physicians, scientists and companies from across the world to share information and collaborate on projects they can only achieve together.

Guide patients to obtain quality care
We provide accurate information about treatment options and clinical trials, refer patients to experienced doctors, and match patients with trained peer-support mentors.
