What we need
- Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
- Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
What we have in place
- We currently have a marketing plan, amazing stats and standard language, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a great communications support team, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to recruit and train volunteers at 1 of our 13 partner sites for a full school year.
With recent School on Wheels program growth, we need someone to help create compelling language that harnesses our impact and moves individuals to action. We need your help to convey the impact of our programs on breaking the cycle of homelessness through education to both new volunteers and donors through a general informational brochure in order to keep our programs funded and running.

Our mission
To provide one-on-one tutoring and educational advocacy for school-aged children impacted by homelessness.
What we do
We equip children impacted by homelessness with the educational tools necessary to achieve success in life and break the cycle of homelessness.
- Provide over 5,800 hours of one-on-one tutoring to school-aged children experiencing homelessness each school year
- Tutor in twelve partner locations up to four times each week
- Offer after school tutoring as well as lunch time curriculum-based programs
- Provide workshops, education panels and office hours to the parents of the children we serve to best equip them to be the best advocates for their child's education
