Project details

What we need
  • Analysis of the organization’s current donor base
  • Assessment of an organization’s target demographics, existing marketing materials and fundraising objectives
  • Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to recruit donors, including identification of new resources and most appropriate marketing methods
Additional details

For an additional $4,000 a year we can ensure all students have adequate shoes and cold weather clothing. Many children are barefoot, or wear worn slippers and flimsy sweaters or jackets. These funds will allow our students to attend school during the winter months.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a donor base, website, crowd funding campaign, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have documentation, financials, photographs, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,000 , allowing us to increase enrollment for 49 Afghanistan children to receive and education.

Girls are vulnerable to being married at a young age when families cannot afford to buy food and children do not go to school. For $100 a month an entire family can be fed. We are providing Afghan families with food money in exchange for sending their children to school. Both girls as well as the boys must attend school. To date 33 students are enrolled in our program. 15 of the students are girls, 6 parents are widowed. We have saved 4 girls ages 10 -12 from marriage. We require additional expertise to accommodate families wishing to join FoodForSchool.

Our mission

The Global 500 Forum supports humanitarian and environmental causes around the world. Over twenty years of experience allows us to address the needs of our global environment. Our survival is dependent upon children reaching their full potential through quality education and the enhancement of their community and the world. We assist individuals and groups who are doing work of excellence to help preserve the environment and nurture humanitarian causes.

What we do

A monthly $100 (USD) donation to Food for School through the Global 500 Environmental Forum feeds a family of nine and ensures that parents commit to sending all their children—both boys and girls—to school. Your donation goes directly to support the education of young girls and boys by feeding their families. Additional donations will provide shoes and outerwear so that, in cold and harsh climates, the children may walk to school.
