What we need
- Creation of a strategic plan for an online crowdfunding campaign
- Step-by-step guidance throughout the implementation of the campaign
- Evaluation at the end of the campaign to gauge effectiveness and guide strategy for future campaigns

- We currently have well-respected staff, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have social media/business contacts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,000 , allowing us to raise funds to serve 75 aspiring business owners.
We provide business start-up training for aspiring entrepreneurs, having trained more than 175 people and helped over 40 small businesses start or expand. The service has been well received, but the funding to continue is limited. A CROWD-FUNDING project would raise operating funds to continue, while also providing expertise for staff to advise small businesses on this new technique to raise capital.

What we do
Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, Inc. (NKCAC) was established in 1966 to address "the paradox of poverty in a land of plenty". Originally focused on providing crisis assistance for families in need, the agency has evolved as society has changed and the needs, problems, and challenges of low income communities have increased.
We envision a thriving community where all members are self-reliant, capable of helping themselves and offering support to their neighbors with any life challenges they may face. NKCAC is a comprehensive human services organization that serves 12,000 families and 28,000 individuals at 17 sites located throughout an eight county service area in Northern Kentucky, with limited services in 18 additional Kentucky counties.
