Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will work with the Organization over 1-2 days to capture an important event or shoot a series of photographs to tell the Organization's story
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We currently have an exisiting photo library, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ideas for photo opportunities and upcoming events, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to invite 250 students from across the state to participate in our Student Energy Summit.
The success of our organization depends on being able to communicate the urgency of our mission. Without your help, we cannot show people why what we do is relevant and important. Your skills will empower us to create compelling collateral that motivate people to join us.

WE INSPIRE LEADERSHIP:
Blue Planet engages in lawmaking at the Hawaii State Capitol and rulemaking at the Public Utilities Commission. We convene industry decision makers, policy experts, and community leaders to collaborate on forward-thinking solutions that will accelerate progress toward 100% clean energy.
WE INSPIRE AWARENESS:
Ninety percent of Hawaii's energy needs come from imported fossil fuels. The transition to 100% clean energy will require new technologies, new infrastructure, new financing, and new regulations. We keep the public informed about what's happening with these complex issues, why they are important, and how they affect Hawaii's residences and businesses.
WE INSPIRE PROGRESS:
Blue Planet's community-based initiatives make clean energy solutions accessible and affordable to local communities. Our programs use leveraged investments to maximize community benefits, and they are designed to be replicable and scalable.
