Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
What we have in place
  • We currently have a url, a wordpress blog, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have access to other mom's, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to help 4000000 parents of kids with a mental illness.

The success of our organization depends on people understanding the challenges parents face. Without your help, we cannot get the attention we need to raise revenue. Your skills will empower us to make @Wit's End a reality.

Our mission

@Wit’s End is an online platform providing targeted resources for people who love someone with mental illness and have run out of ways to help.

There are 4,000,000 mentally ill children in the US, which means there are 4,000,000 moms who feel as lost and alone as our founder Tricia.

What we do

We imagine a website where you can find what you need – all in one place and as expediently as possible. Where there is an algorithm that will send you to the right sources and not waste your time. We imagine the information is gathered via crowd sourcing, and then vetted by reviews and input from professionals. We want to include ways families can help pay for these programs, how they can apply for aid and what their rights are. We also imagine an online support group, chat rooms and blog. People like us need to know that are not alone, because we can tell you, we often do.
