Social Media Plan
Social Media Plan
Project details
What we need
- A document outlining the most appropriate social media channels, strategies for usage, goals and key metrics to evaluate success
- Expert consultation on messaging, scheduling and frequency
- Tailored suggestions for style, tone, and types of content to best showcase the Organization
What we have in place
- We already have a brand messaging brief, which should help you with language. We have two Facebook accounts, one with almost 1,000 fans and another with almost 1,900 fans. We have three Twitter accounts with more than 1,200 followers totaled. We also have an email list with over 1,000 subscribers and a healthy press list
How this will help
This project will save us $6,632 , allowing us to better use over 200 hours of staff time planning outreach events vs keeping up with social media without a plan.
We are experienced, have a good-sized social media following, and are active on our accounts. Social justice stories are often difficult and not necessarily ‘feel-good’ or easily 'liked,' but are important and timely, so your expert skills would help us to tell our story in a way that will engage more of our followers and encourage action.

Our mission
CIRS works to radically transform rural California as systems of oppression and extraction give way to systems which are life-affirming, sensitive to many types of knowledge, equitable and reflective of the rich cultural landscape of rural California.
What we do
CIRS creates research-based tools for action in partnership with rural communities of color who are working to eradicate white supremacy, take down colonial power structures and replace dysfunctional institutions.
